My daughter and son in law come to Disney with us every single time with my grandsons. We've owned our dvc since 2007. we want to purchase them an annual pass but here's the conflict they have their own address and they wouldn't get our discount and it would be an extra $800 for there passes unless they change their address is there a way around this at all? Do I add them to the deed? If they change their address it could make their address non homestead and they could loose their VA mortgage.
Thank you

There is no way around the "reside in the same household" requirement other than to add your daughter to your deed or buy them their own contract. That would allow her to purchase the DVC passes for herself and those immediate family members who reside at her address. Before you do that, you should do a search for the pros and cons of adding children to your deed.

The biggest thing with adding to the deed is it could be used as colleratal right but we could develop an agreement signed with her and her husband that if they were to ever to divorce it wouldn't be considered in? And have it notarized

Don't think such an agreement would protect against bankruptcies or other claims/liens filed by your children's creditors. Agreement might work in event of divorce. I am not a lawyer.

In most states, post-nuptual agreements, which is essentially what you're proposing, can be thrown out on a judge whim.

Not to hijack the thread but what is disneys stand on my situation below.

I have an 11 yo daughter she lives with her mother, will I be able to buy her discounted passes?

What is actual required to activate/pickup your discounted AP? If it's only a blue membership card and photo ID then I guess I would be good as no address is listed on our photo id's
