DVC Annual Meeting 2021?

Does anyone think they will give out a 50th anniversary ornament after the meeting?

I just found this pictures taken at the condo meetings. The first was from 2010, other in 2015. So, after the business part, there were refreshments, characters and a chance to talk to DVC representatives. I remember Joy, a Member satisfaction person especially.

Thanks for posting this! Joy is such a Joy! It must be the same person....she called me at home one day to thank me for a letter I sent to Ken Potrack (sp)We had a wonderful conversation. She was so kind. Is she the one in the yellow sweater? I just got Teary eyed thinking about it.

No, that’s not Joy, thats my friend Joanna. I also had been lucky enough to get a call from Joy. She embodied everything good about DVC.

Lol.....she was the only one not wearing a festive shirt so I just assumed. And she did indeed. I wonder if she’s still there.

I remember those pewter ornaments. I can’t recall if we got them in the mail or during a visit. I have a whole collection of surprises they used to randomly mail us. I cried when I received the Mickey ear/flag pin after 9/11.

I was not a member until 2004. Getting a pin commemorating 9/11 is really special. Thanks for mentioning that. I hadn’t known.

I've been to three condo association meetings, and I see no reason to attend a fourth. You really won't miss anything - they're tightly scripted, and any important announcements will be all over social media, like here on the DISboards as well as elsewhere.

I was going to ask if the condo meeting was worth attending or if it was terribly boring, like a bunch of accountants discussing price ratios. This is the first time we're actually going to be at WDW during the meetings and we are tempted to attend.

I know a few resorts are getting a hard/soft refurb in 2022.
