DVC Animal Kingdom Baseball Cap

Does anyone know how to get a DVC Animal Kingdom baseball cap? I saw one on EBay after it had already been sold. Would love to get one for DH, as he loves baseball caps and we are AKV owners. I had never seen one before! Help?

I won one at AKL last March. They had a social event going on that members could go to. We played a few games and the price was the baseball hat.

We got ours by signing up for the DVC Members Mingle at Jambo House. Since we were DVC owners signing up for the mingle we got the hat. DH and I disagree on this, but I thought we were given the hat as we were AKV owners. He thought it was because we signed up for the mingle and were DVC members.

Yes, that is exactly the hat! Unfortunately, we were there last week of May (AKV) and I didn't even know they had those! Going back in January, but staying at OKWV. If anyone has an extra or not want theirs, would be willing to pay!

We got it in November 2012. It could have been the ASA CM just decided to give us one. Since they give out hats at Welcome Home Wednesdays they should give out something for the mingles.

In Oct 2012 we got one when we signed up for the Mingle. However, in Feb we went to Mingle and the hats were given out only to those who answered trivia questions. I think they are no longer giving out the hats to everyone who signs up for the event.

What nights are the mingle again? We are going July 10-13. We went last year and enjoyed it. Everyone got a hat ten.

The food and drinks are great and worth going for; plus we had a really fun time. Space is limited so sign up as soon as you get there.

Went to a Mingle in Sept 2012 and both DW and I received hats.
Went to a Mingle in May 2013 and the only way to get a hat was to answer a trivia questions.
I did win, the drawing for $100 gift card, and DVC gave out 2 $100 cards that day.

I agree about the food. It was really good and the activities were fun.
We were also told to sign up early because the number who can attend is quite small. You do have to be staying at AKL, but it was not just members (at least not ours) - one of the points was for members to tell others how great DVC is.
