While driving to and from work my mind wonders and the other day I thought if I could change my license plate what would I put on it? Small little things cross my little feeble brain. When I got home I thought that it would be an interesting topic to discuss over dinner with my DH. We started coming up with a ton of ideas. Has anyone ever thought about doing this? If so, what does your plate state?

I live in Florida and I believe that if we have schools, sports etc, then we should have Disney on a license plate.

I am in love with DVC. I love my homebase VWL. So I told my DH to start writing out different types of plates using the DVC and VWL.

Here are a few that we have started with:

DVCLVR
HMBSVWL
ILV4DVC

This is just what my DH has started with....anyone else wish to give there ideas? Figured it would be fun!

My license plate (which I've had for about 5 years) is DZNY NUT. There's no way I can change it...everyone around town knows it's me when they see it! I've even met people for the first time and once I discuss my LOVE of WDW, they realize they have seen me driving around town. It really is a small world after all!!

We have DSNY FN on our car and WDW LVR for the new car on it's way

Saw one the other day

WDW 247

It wasn't a vanity plate, but sounds like something alot of us on the boards could use as a motto:rolleyes:

We see several DVC plates in ILL. There is one DVC OKW and another DVC1. Many times I ask the kids as we are driving to look for "fun License plates" and they spot different Disney plates . It is also another fun thing to do on the long drive to WDW.

For Christmas about 2 years ago, DH gave me a PA plate:

4 4DISNY

(4 people in our family!!)

On the front, we have the traditional DVC member plate.

I have a company car so it only has the "been there, done that, going back" holder around my plate, but Belle and Rella's Mom has one that reads

GON2WDW

A lot of people see it and say "Gone to WDW" when it was actually supposed to be "Going to WDW". Either way everybody knows how we feel.

We have no place to put our DVC member plate that was sent to us. In Canada we have plates on the front and back of the car not sure how many of the states have this I thin I have only seen a few of them.

We are required to have a front and rear plate so only a DVC plate holder (frame) would work. Does anyone know if holders are available?

For state issued license plates we have VWL DVC and OKW DVC. They could be available in your state.:earsboy:

My favorite was a vanity plate from NJ that I saw last summer at OKW: CUatWDW. I took a picture of it! I think NJ still requires 2 plates so all you can do is buy a vanity plate.

I want a WDW plate on the front of my minivan but my dh is so cranky... he even gripes about my Mickey ears on the antenna! Last trip down we passed families that had decorated their rear windows with paint that said "WDW Here we come!" and seeing them made me smile... I think I am buying a plate this time if dh likes it or not!

That is exactly what we were planning on doing for our cars!! 1 was DVC WLV and the other DVC BCV. We had to wait until we got our registration for our new minivan. We were leasing 1 of our cars before so had to wait until we bought the minivan!! On the front of the van is the DVC Member plate and on the other car is the one with the 4 parks on it :)

We have an Ohio: DVC BCV plate. I had to try alot of different things until I found something that was still available. We knew that only DVCers' would know what it ment, but that makes it all the more fun! :D

I have had two Disney plates. The first one was DVC BWV. When I changed vehicles I changed it and now it says #1DISNEY. I liked my DVC plate but everyone assumed it was our initials or some other undecipherable code. I kinda wanted to let people know what I was about! :) I have an oval sticker that has DVC on it, so I've got both bases covered.

I live in NC and I have CRZ4MCKY, I had thought about putting CRZ4DVC, but since I love everything Disney including Mickey I went with the first. :D

Can you believe I even had one person ask, "Who's Mickey"?

I also have my DVC Member vanity plate on the front of my car.
