DVC and Extra Magic Hour

Hi,

Just a quick question and I'm fairly certain I know the answer, but DH asked me to double check with someone.

Anyway, friends of ours have given us their timeshare offsite for the week before Easter. They can't use it and we would never turn down a trip to the World, offsite or not. But, since we are DVC members we never stay offsite. My question is, are we allowed into the Extra Magic Hour by just showing our DVC card?? I think I did that once because I was digging for so long to find my room key and I pulled out my DVC card and they let me right through. But, my question is, was that allowed or was the women just sick of waiting for me to find my room key??

As far as I can tell you must be on site DVC member or not... sorry

The EMH is a resort guest perk,not a DVC perk. You have to be a resort guest on the day of the EMH to take advantage of that benefit.

they have gotten very exact about this.

they will put your room Id through a machine. It tells them you ARE a guest at a WDW resort NOW.
