DVC and DDP Premium

I posted this in the Dining Forum but thought I would ask here also

I know DVC members staying on points may purchase Quick/Regular or Deluxe dining plans.

But does anyone know if we may purchase the premium Dining plan which includes recreation and golf and tours?

No- those plans are not available when staying on points.

Guess I will have to pay for tours and recreation seperately.

Does DVC get discount on recreation ie Bike rental?

In the past it was sometimes cost effective to reserve and pay for a Value resort using AP or other discounts and then purchase Dining Plans, etc.
Don't know if that would still work and if Premium is available with a value resort.

I thought you had to be booked in a deluxe resort to get the premium and platinum plans...but maybe it is just the platinum?
