I was reading on one of the other threads that people were getting a better deal on their airfare from AirTran by booking through WDTC instead of AirTran direct. On the promotional video for DVC, I remember seeing a blip about them being able to arrange air transportation through Member Services. Has anyone ever done this? I'm thinking about it for my October trip. Right now, AT's flights are $2 below my budget which means I will have to forego a checked bag. Not a huge deal, but if Disney's price is lower by even $25 each way, I'll be able to take my checked bag.

First of all, I'm impressed that you keep to such a budget!

I can't address your exact question, but back in my past (pre DVC) when I used to book regular WDW resort rooms, the Disney Travel Co used to offer air. It's my recollection that at least then, it was no deal. Having said that, you can call (toll free) and ask DVC what they would charge. Best of luck!
