DVC and Advance Dining Reservations

I've never tried to make ADR's on a DVC reservation but hubby and I are going over New Years and know we'll never get a table without a reservation. Are DVC members not given the option to do 180+? On my reservation screen it said I could make my reservations on July 2nd (we're arriving on December 29th).

I'm confused.

as far as ADR's are concerned it doesn't matter 'how' you're staying....dvc or not...you can do the 180 days - that's why your reservation says today is your window for 12/29. You don't have to make an adr via MS, just go to the disney dining website.

Like PP said you can make your ADR's now. You will need to go to the ADR website, http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/ enter your date and then below the party size, will pop up a small notice that the date is not being within 180 days. But it will give you the option to confirm your reservation, then you will be able to make your ADR.

We're also arriving on the 29th and I just finished making all of our ADR's through Jan 3! Good luck to you! The only one I couldn't get exactly what I wanted was Fantasmic on the 29th, got Hollywood and Vine instead of Mama Melrose.

You can made ADRs 180 days out, plus ten more days of your stay. Not 190 days out.

We are going during this time too and just made our ressies. We got everything we wanted. We had back-ups ready (which I would advise you to do), but we didn't need them. We've been doing this for a few years now and have not had any problems getting what we want. LOVE NYE in Disney!!!

Go first through the DVC member website and then click on Book Dining Online (right side under Plan My Vacation).

OP, sorry for jumping in on your thread ... but Bobbiwoz and DisneyMim you've given me hope that I will have success with my ADRs when my window opens tomorrow morning. (We arrive on the 30th.)

I'm hoping we won't have trouble getting HDDR on NYE (one of the early shows) and CRT Breakfast on the 4th!
