Nevermind...I've noticed that the special tickets offered for WDW through 3/31/16 via DVC did not change with the price increase. I've purchased my maximum 8 tickets - all 6-day Hopper (with free water parks & more), which can be used anytime in the future.
Check out these tickets - instant savings!
The 7 day parkhopper was exactly the same as when I bought it a couple of weeks ago. Are you sure you looked at the same passes? They did increase a little bit, but not near as much as the main site. I bought some on Friday and they were about $10 more per ticket.
You're right; I messed up the mix of child and adult tickets. So, no increase for the DVC deal. The 7 day parkhopper was exactly the same as when I bought it a couple of weeks ago. Are you sure you looked at the same passes?
It was not a huge discount 2 weeks ago but now with tax it saves me almost $54. That does not even count the water park option, which I don't intend to use. More like $80 savings with that. You're right; I messed up the mix of child and adult tickets. So, no increase for the DVC deal.
No I called MS on this and was told that it wouldn't be an issue as long as they were traeling with me. i.e. on my reservationMe and my daughter have annual passes... but I'd like to buy 2 for guests that may be traveling with us. . When I go to purchase, it asks who will be using these tickets? If I add their names to those tickets will that be a problem since they are not dvc members and do not live at the same address as me (even if I pick them up for them?)

No. Tickets purchased separately and directly from Disney are not bridge. They know ho much you paid, so that's the credit you receive towards an upgrade. If I may piggy back here w/ a question on top of this??
As in years past we were able to buy tix from a broker ( UT ) for cheaper..Use them to enter into MK, then immediately go to town hall to have them bridged to an AP...They took the gate price for the bridging as long as it was used....My question would be, Can this be done if we bought the DVC deal tix as well??? T.I.A.

When I looked at it a month ago there was a link when you were logged into your DVC account that when you clicked on it took you to the Disney ticketing website and you bought hem through there with the discount applied.Do I have to buy these through the DVC site or MDE?
