DVA Paper gift cards to plastic

Has anyone tried to transfer their emailed gift card from DVA to a plastic gift card? I have tried several times and have not been able to transfer the balance.

I was able to transer the gift card they provided me to another card easy. Do you have another card stored on disneygiftcard dot com?

I do have other plastic gift cards stored in the webpage. They have a zero balance, so not sure if that is the issue.

Yes, I was able to load all of the paper DVC GC and they show as saved in my profile.

Well, then I don't know! I know I had no issue transferring the funds to a plastic card. I would wait a day or two, the system could just be wonky. You know how wonderful Disney IT is!

Are they more than 1K? I know DVA set the limit at 2K per GC but the giftcard website has a 1K limit. I didn't try on mine (I have a cruise booked so I just applied it) but I wonder if that's part of the problem?

The paper GC’s are greater than $1k, and I am trying to transfer $500 to multiple plastic GC's. It let me load the paper GC's just not able t move money from them.

I'll see if there is a customer service number on the webpage.

I don't think you can transfer less than the full amount on the gc and since it's over $1k you definitely won't be able to. You may want to go to a Disney Store and see if they'll let you purchase a plastic GC with your paper one.
