DVA Bonus Request

I know on DVA's FAQs say to request the bonus 4-6 weeks prior to leaving for your trip, but do they cross check reservations? Are you able to put in an earlier date and get your bonus sooner? Obviously, I'd rather have my bonus in my hands sooner rather than later, and worry about hoping I get it in time for my cruise especially considering DCL requires PIF much sooner than 4-6 weeks out.

Also, are you allowed to request the bonus more than once? I haven't decided if I want to use DVA to put money towards my onboard account yet, but if I do, I would qualify for another bonus. If I were to request a bonus, say, now, would I be able to request another bonus in a few months' time after I use it to put money in my onboard account? (Assuming that can still be done, right?)

The first time I did it last fall, I requested it way more than 4-6 weeks out. I don't think they checked my reservation. It did take almost 4 weeks though.

I just recently paid off my upcoming cruise (for this summer) and I figured I would request my bonus in a couple of months, but within a couple of days, I had an email in my box saying that the reward that I "requested" (?!?) was on the way. I didn't even request it and they just sent it.

I put it back in my DVA and I plan to put it in my onboard account. Then after I load up my account, I should have one more bonus coming my way. I'll probably put that back in there, too.
