Is the whole room dusty and dirty or just your phone? You can always walk to the front desk to discuss your concerns. That is usually the quickest way to get something resolved.Just arrived at the beach club and the phone is disgustingly filthy which I had to use to call for my bags. Is this how the room supposed to be when you're paying $700 a night?
Luckily we bought travel wipes with us and when we wiped it off it is way way cleaner.Eww, is that really dust or scratches? Holy cow if that's dust that's disguisting. I would snap a pic and show it to the front desk and ask for mousekeeping while you're out. Someone just complained on here that their Feb BC stay was awful and the carpet was black in their room and that the elevators were gross. I guess BC is the Caribbean Beach Resort of the deluxes. That amount of dust isn't ok even at $200/nt.
Good call. But you still shouldn't have to clean your own room. Hopefully the rest isn't that bad.Luckily we bought travel wipes with us and when we wiped it off it is way way cleaner.
Thanks, the rest was fineJust arrived at the beach club and the phone is disgustingly filthy which I had to use to call for my bags. Is this how the room supposed to be when you're paying $700 a night?
Then your title is a little misleading. Thanks, it was just the phone.
You're right..I was just frustrated when wrote it
Totally not acceptable especially when paying top dollar for whats supposed to be a Deluxe Hotel... Show that pic to the Front Desk or better yet ask to speak to a Supervisor
My father managed a hotel after he retired. He would mark sheets on beds to ensure they were getting changed between guests. I suspect the sheets not being changed happens more than we would care to know, but that's probably its own thread...in addition to putting fresh new sheets and pillows and blankets... I know these things because my mother used to work at a hotel before I was born and she would always give the maids she worked with proper protocols for cleaning guest rooms safely.
