hello

going may 26 to june 2nd- staying at RPR-
i was wondering what the wait times were like with FOTL for busy times
are you still waiting in the express lines for long periods
(30 min +) or are the wait times under 15 min?
i know it depends what rides you go on but i was just looking for average express line wait times

i have really hyped up the FOTL to my husband so he wouldn't mind spending more and staying on site but i hope i haven't mislead him:rolleyes:

thanks

IOA u will find FOTL works so much better as its rides if posted time is 60 min expect a 10 min wait if u get to IOA about 8.30am u will only wait about 5 min for front of row for hulk we did this twice during 2 weeks and within 20 min we had done front of row twice and thre other rows with key at USO because its mainly show u will wait about 10-20 min I actually found USO staff seemed to be unhappy with u using the express esp at shrek but because the shows start at a certain time they only open doors at set times so even if u are in express line u will wait but trust me u wait 15 min for shrek the other poor guests are waiting 80-90 min for shrek but be warned fOTL spoils u make no mistake also another tip if the express line is long go to another atraction and come back rather than waste time we did this and we saw all shows all rides numerous times and never once soent a full day in the parks:crazy:

The last several trips we have stayed onsite and used the FOTL. As stated above it really spoils you as I do not think I would go back without staying on site. We have always gone the last few days of May and early June and it really has not been bad. Matter of fact we will be going back this year the last week of May and the first week of JUne. Timing plays a big role in your wait times. Sometimes we have got on the more popular rides in less than 5 minutes and sometimes it might take up to 15 minutes. But that is usually only on Spiderman and the hulk. One thing I have wondered about is how are the express booklets they sale affecting the lines. It seems like sometimes the wait is getting longer as you do see alot of people in the express line with these booklets. But it is alot better to wait 15 minutes vs 1 to 2 hours to do some of the rides. One thing to note about the express lines is you do miss out on some the neat things they have in the lines as you go thru them. Three come to mind Hulk, Doctor Doom and especially Dueling Dragons. If you get a chance I would go thru the regular lines to see that stuff as some of it is pretty interesting. As someone noted above the FOTL also gets you in the shows alot quicker as peple are waiting in long lines that you get to skip. Overall the FOTL is the only way to go and certainly worth the extra cost. Have you looked into the numerous ways to get a discount on the rooms at the resorts? It can certainly lower your cost of rooms.

It really does help. We went last summer and while most lines posted 90 min waits, we boarded and were off in 15 min or less.

OH YES it does more than just help! I've been to th eparks twice during the July 4th holiday week. VERY CROWDED! Posted wait times of 90 minutes for popular rides were not unusual. With our magic room keys we just walked into the express line. Some rides were a walk on--others a five or ten minute wait. The only time we waited longer was if there was a technical problem with the attraction.

Hi Lisa!

On Friday and Saturday (last weekend in March), the parks were very busy, but the most we waited was 10 minutes for MIB, and that was only one time.

I also secured the $209 APH rate for RPR club for our October trip, so I hope you'll tell us all about it! (After our really lackluster stay at the PBH, I canceled our ressies there and switched to the RPR.)

i definetly can't wait to share a trip report and pics with everyone when i return-
this board has been such a great help to me and everyone is really nice, unlike some people on
..... other boards

When we were there last August, the parks were very busy and crowded. Posted wait time at Shrek was always 120 minutes. We never waited more than 10. Wait times at Spiderman were 75 minutes and we never waited more than 10 minutes. Posted waits at Jimmy Neutron were 60-75 minutes and we always got in the door for the next ride so again under 10 minutes. We waited 5-10 minutes for Dueling Dragons except for the time DH and DD rode in the front seat. Naturally, they waited longer for that. The longest we waited was 20 minutes once for MIB. I am not sure what the situation was. All other times we have ridden MIB, the wait has been under 15 minutes. FOTL is worth it whenever you go. We are very spoiled by it!

themepark

going with DH, DS5, DD16, DS17 & staying at the RPR, 5/26 to 6/2
