So I'm working on it but my diabetes combined with menopause and getting old in general is making it hard to shed the weight.
I've gone to the parks when I was pooh sized but at this point I'm more dumbo sized - will I be able to ride anything in the parks?

I don’t have a lot of knowledge on this topic but there is a thread that talks about different body shapes and what rides work and which don’t. I will link the thread below. Hope it helps!

I once topped the scales at 450 pounds. The only thing I could not ride at Disney was Flight of passage. I am now down to 300 pounds and will be trying that ride again when I go Wednesday. I am 6 foot 4 though so its a bit stretched out.

You should be fine. When I was 315 I could rider everything back in the 2000's .

It will have a lot to do with how you carry your weight, but Disney overall is very plus-size friendly. Tron may be difficult, but even then they have the accessible seat that you can use if needed.

Everyone carries their weight differently so it's impossible for us to answer really.

Boat and dark rides you'll generally be fine on, since they either don't have restraints or a single bar.

Rides with a seatbelt, like Dinosaur or Test Track, will be possibly to ride but very uncomfortable.

Flight of Passage, TRON, Everest, and guardians are probably no-go. Rock n Roller Coaster is surprisingly accommodating for a thrill ride as long as you can snake your way into the seat.

Would you consider Tron difficult for tall people also? I was looking at the ride vehicle and wondering for my husband who is 6’1 and 220. Also any info on the accessible seat. I have neck issues and wonder if I can ride using that seat. I know I can’t ride the bike with my neck the way it is.

There are various threads specifically about Tron and the ability to ride it. I would recommend searching ‘tron’ titles in this forum.

As a 6'3 300 pounder I can tell you your husband will have no problems.

I’m a 6’ woman and DS is 6’1”ish. Neither of us are close to 220, but our height posed no issue on TRON.

I’ve been to WDW up to 346lbs. The only thing I couldn’t ride at my top weight was FoP. I was able to ride FoP around 300lbs. I could ride Mine Train even at my top weight but it was painful. Getting in and out of the teacups was difficult but I squeezed in. I haven’t been since Tron opened so I’m no help on that 1.

I'm 5'8" and about 215 and carry all my weight in my middle. No issues riding FoP (which I've ridden several times before) or with riding Tron. The biggest issue with Tron seems to be if you carry your weight in your legs, specifically your calves. That bar needs to be able to slide forward enough behind your legs. If you don't fit - or are worried you won't - just ask to ride in the accessible car, but we did see when they were doing that last week, that person got separated from the rest of their party.

Yeah I just rode FOP at 6'4 310 pounds. It felt tight but I didn't need any help closing anything although it did feel a little tight. Down from a high of 450 so was just glad to fit at all. I rode Tron with my brother who is bigger then me and we went straight to the accessible car for him, but I do plan to try the bike when I take my son in 3 weeks.

Congrats on your loss! How weird-I'm also down 140lbs from my highest. I love that Disney is size inclusive most of the time.

I have been Pooh sized, bordering on Dumbo sized for all of my Disney trips. I have never been unable to ride a ride at WDW. My top weight for a Disney trip was around 340 and I'm 5'8. I carry my weight fairly proportionally across my whole body. FOP has been a tight squeeze in the past, and I'm hoping it's easier this trip as I'm down to 300. This will be my first time attempting Tron, so we'll see how it goes.

You should be fine on Tron (if not, there is a regular seat car in the back). For me, it was more of a comfort with the feet and their placement. I saw someone close to your old weight use the pre-ride cycle and had no problem fitting.
