I will be trying to ride 7DMT at rope drop next Thursday. I then have a FP for it's a small world beginning at 10:05. Would I be better off going straight to Peter Pan after 7DMT and then riding Dumbo later in the day? Or would I better off riding Dumbo right after 7DMT and then trying to FP Peter Pan for later?

Ditto Alesia and personally, I'm looking forward to seeing the new PP queue so riding early in the standby line would be more worth it to me vs. getting a fastpass for later.

Peter Pan first. The wait for Dumbo takes longer to increase and will get shorter later in the evening. Peter Pan waits typically don't drop at all. Plus the new stand by queue at PP is amazing and totally worth seeing!

Is it possible to change that IASW FP to a PP FP? That might be a better option?

The only PP FPs are late in the day. I keep checking though. This was a last-minute trip, so not a lot of availability. I want to have my FPs earlier in the day so I can try for some extras.

Thanks, everyone! That will be the plan.

If you use FP at Peter Pan, you'll miss the queue - which is actually better than the ride itself.

Def. Peter Pan first...with the move and expansion of Dumbo, it's really not too bad of a line anymore, but Peter Pan gets very long. I'd def. do 7DMT and then Peter Pan.

Definitely Peter Pan! Dumbo waits really aren't that bad now that they have two sides

If you want to see the new queue than you'll want to do Standby right after 7DMT. Otherwise I would get a FP for it and ride Dumbo standby before it.

You'll have until 11:05 to use that small world FP. That should be more than enough time to do both. 7DMT, then Peter Pan, and depending on time, Pooh, then Dumbo before your FP.

I would do Peter Pan first - Dumbo waits are not as long as PP can get - and they don't drop even at the end of the day.

Dumbo is nothing like it used to be in the other location. We have walked on or had less than a 10 minute wait getting there between 10 and 11:00 a.m. multiple times. Doubtful it would have more than a 20 minute wait before them unless it is a high crowd day. We also like to ride it in the evening as it is very pretty after dark- it is almost always walk on- we usually ride a few times in a row. By 9:15 (assuming a 9 park opening), the Peter pan line is often already 30 to 45 minutes long. Definitely head for PP. The Peter Pan line often stays at 40 minutes or longer all day.

PP for sure. We rode Dumbo around 11am on an EMH morning in July and the wait was 10 minutes.

I vote for Peter Pan as well. Since the addition, my girls prefer the play area in the Dumbo tent more than the ride itself. The wait for us is usually less than 15 mins and we would let the CM know we want more time in the play area. CM would tell us to go to the ride whenever my girls are done playing.

Definitely ride PP! We have found that we could always grab a FP later in the day for Dumbo (even Christmas week and Easter week), so that line doesn't get out of control anymore.

dumbo also has an indoor play area for when you are waiting if you have small kids this could be a good place to let them play while the adult rested while you wait your turn.

Peter Pan's ride queue backs up quickly. Dumbo has its high points, but it usually slows during the parade and especially later in the evening when it is a walk-on. Peter Pan's Flight always has a line.
