Dumbo Confirmed re-opening date

April 27th is back to being open again. So, looks like my party will get to do dumbo on our last day there. Good Stuff, only PotC will be down so, not a bad trip.

Hopefully only Pirates will be down! Not be be a Debby Downer, but Disney could announce a closure anytime in the next few weeks. Also, Space Mountain is turning back into Hyperspace Mountain by May 3 so they will have to close that ride for a short time before then.

I am really glad for the grandkids that Dumbo will be open and disappointed Pirates will be closed on our May Trip. What is Hyperspace Mountain? It has been a couple years since I have been to Disneyland and have not seen or heard of this.

It was in the Star Wars late night announcement. They said starting May 3 during that special party and for a limited time for the release of Solo May 27. So at least a month. Hoping all summer.

I have confidence that it will be open during our trip as Disney knows their plans pretty well, as for hyperspace mountain I feel it will shut down but they will just be doing a quickly overlay and won’t need too much time to complete, I expect it to close on the 28th-30th possibly Monday and it will be ready to go for the 3rd.

Hyperspace Mountain is Space Mountain with a Star Wars-themed overlay.

Ugh! My SM buddy hates the star wars overlay. It was awesome getting to ride it again last trip and now it might be overlayed for our next trip. I wish they would just leave it alone.

The Hyperspace overlay only takes about 3-4 days so it’s not a long closure at all. I would also bet it will go down about April 30th if it is going to “debut” again on the 4th (which makes sense, May the 4th be with you!)
