ok..bear with me newbie here...i have never been to wdw! is it better to book early for crystal palace during emh or on a reg park day? and if you book for early adr's on regular park day..do they make adr's prior to opening time? TIA!

yes, you can make adrs prior to the park opening. in fact, we try to get an early adr at CP, usually around 8:00. that's one of the nicest things about booking an early adr for CP: you get to walk down main street before the park opens when there is basically nobody else in the park - makes for some good pictures in front of the castle. we tend to stay away from parks during emh, but you'll probably get varying opinions on that.

If I were going to make an early morning ADR at CP I would do it before opening on a non EMH morning, say 8:10 AM on a regular park day. I would not waste the early morning EMH hours eating. And being in the park before it opens is a wonderful experience. I have some great pictures on Main Street with no one else in them.

Ditto. That's the way we always do it. First adr slot of the morning on a non-emh day.
