Dumb question RE: Parking and dinner

We are thinking of having dinner somewhere at Boardwalk after Fantasmic at DHS. Fantasmic is scheduled for 7 pm the night we are there (the park also closes at 7 pm). We would probably be driving to DHS, but I would really like to walk to the Boardwalk (part of the appeal to me of dining there that night). Now for the dumb question:

We may not make it back to the DHS parking lot until 9:30 or so (well after park closing) - will we still be able to "get out"? Do they block off the gates or anything so people can't leave after a certain time? This isn't a deal-breaker for me - we can always drive to the Boardwalk - just curious...

Yes, you will be able to drive your car out of the DHS lot.

Lots of "park-hopper" guests will still have their cars at various lots well into the evening.

The walkway from Boardwalk goes directly to the DHS parking lot.

Guest parking is actually under my lettering for "Disney's Hollywood Studios" on my map.
