Is there a way to see all available resorts by entering your desired travel dates? Or do all reservations have to go through Member Services?

Are you a DVC member who has access to the member website? If yes, you can look at availability on the website, although you have to pick what you want and see if it's available for the dates that you want, and the dates have to be within your booking window. They also show alternatives. If that doesn't work, you modify your search. Or, as a DVC member, you can call member services.

If you are not a DVC member, you do not have access to the member website or the member services toll-free number.

Thanks. No. I'm not a member yet. DH and I are getting our numbers together and deciding how many points we want to buy. But we were just talking about some of the ins and outs of the system and I was just wondering how this works. Thanks again.

There used to be a website that was able to show availability at all the resorts in a calendar format but it got shut down by Disney. I wish they would allow it or at least add similar functionality to the member's website as it get s little tedious to find availability if you are trying to book during a busy time and do split stays.

Actually, as of today there is a new search feature on the member website which shows availability for all DVC resorts for any date range you put in. It's a welcomed improvement.

It looks like they just added a new feature to the official DVC member website. There is an option now under vacation planning called resort availability tool. It searches all the DVC resorts at once for a given date range. You can then click on an individual resort / room class and it will being up an availability calendar for the month.

Interesting, though...they have chosen the phrase "limited availability" to describe "some of your nights are available". That's not exactly how I understand "limited availability", so I was a wee bit disappointed when I thought I just saw something new for my dates, but it was only the last day. Oh well! I think I might write in with a thanks and a suggestion.
