I was wondering if the daybeds are all the same size in the deluxes that have them or if they differ. Does anyone know. Thanks

NO the ones at the BWI are only for a small child. My 10 year old was too large for the bed. The ones at the Poly were much larger and he fit no problem. Not sure about the rest of resorts we were at the YC club this summer but had two rooms so I did not pay attention to the day bed size.

The ones at AKL, Contemporary, and the new ones at the Polynesian are fold down futon type that are twin size.

The ones at the Yacht and Beach and Boardwalk Inn are smaller.

The ones at the Grand Floridian are sorta in between.

We were at YC this past June. The daybed in our room was about 6 ft. long, but it was pretty wide. I don't know if they fold out. We never did try.

I took a nap on it one day. A good 2 hour nap and I was very comfortable (I'm 5'10"). DS (12) was comfortable sleeping on it, but DS (16) was less so (he's 6'2").

I would say it would be comfortable for anyone less than 6 ft tall. The cushions are very firm...much like a mattress...you don't feel like you're "sleeping on the couch".

I slept on the one at the YC last weekend and I was just as comfortable as sleeping in the regualr bed. If it helps I am average size, 5'6".
I also slept in the one at the CR and it was a lot bigger than the YC.
