Dumb question about quests and tour!

I need to ask a question regarding the quests/tour. I have read the player guide and it is very helpful. But what I was wondering was regarding the quests.

First of all: you can only print the Tomorrowland quest ahead of time, is this correct?

The other quests they give you at the park, is it also a print out? Will it take long to answer the questions? The questions in the guide, are these only for the quest? are there also tour questions?

Sorry, I am sort of a newer player (although have been on Dis forever over at the cast member forum) and I was just a little confused about the quest thingy.

I am hopelessly addicted to VMK because of my kids!!! :teeth:

You do need to print out the Tomorrowland quest ahead of time. It is a fill in the bubble type of thing. The other quests are kind of like scratch-off lottery tickets. There is a question, and then al few choices. You scratch off theone you think is correct. It is supposed to take about an hour to do each quest, but it can vary. Also, don't worry about getting one or two wrong, because the Cast Members checking the quest usually give you a couple chances- they'll tell you that one is wrong and you can change the answer.

I hope I helped!

There is also a quest you do on the Tour, you find out the answers along the way. You'll get a pile of cards at that point too :)

The tour is fun, the guide will ask questions along the way and give cards for the answers then too :) I'm hoping to get my Mom to join me when I do the tour again next weekend.

Ok, so the questions/answers posted in the sticky in the players guide post, are they for the quest or for the tour? I think that is what I am getting confused on. I see Adventureland answers, Fantasyland answers, Haunted Mansion Answers and Frontierland answers - but are these answers during the tour? I only see one that says Tomorrowland quest.

aeryn, we are going to try to do the tour in December when we are there. I hope there will be room, it might be crowded because it is over the holidays. I am so jealous that you are going soon. My daughters and I are dying to get some of the quest items!

You can pick up the other quest guide pamphletes at the VMK booth inside the parks. You need to answer them first, then turn them in at the booth and then sign up for a tour (usually same day or next). Good to turn in before 10am as tour fills up by then. I did mine at Disnelyand a couple weeks ago. Also buy some items in the park, such as hat, shirt and get virtual prizes too (My Gold Ears-Woot). Have fun.

The Adventureland Answers, Fronteirland Answers, Fantasyland Answers, and Tomorrowland Answers are for the actual quests. The Haunted Mansion quest is something you get if you take the tour in WDW (You ride the Haunted Mansion and look for the quest answers inside the ride). There are answers for that too. There are also answers for some of the trivia they ask during the tour, but I think those questions sometimes change.

Good luck with getting all of those codes! :)

If you find all Hidden Mickeys you will get a certificate for a "free tour" that means you will be able to schedule it with out doing the quests first. That will help a lot.
