Dumb question about park tickets

We are newbie DVCers and this is the first time I have purchased park tickets a la carte and not part of the entire trip package.

Today I received our park tickets (the plastic cards). What do I need to do with these? I thought I might have to link them on MDE but it appears they are already linked. We will need these to enter the park? Or will this all be linked to our Magic Band?

It seems like a waste to send the cards if we don't need them....or maybe we do. I'm lost. Help!

If you have them linked to your Magic Bands, you really shouldn't need them. Unless there is some glitch with the MB system.

Well, you may not need them but if for some reason you lose or damage your MagicBand the info associated with the card might come in handy.

Yeah, I always keep my ap's in a little travel wallet with a Credit card, Drivers License, AAA card(for EOS discount), My health insurance card and some cash. Dont need to use the AP since i have the bands but its good to have just in case.

I do this too. ID, DVC Member Card, Disney Visa, PAP, Insurance Card. It's best to keep it on you than have to run back to the room if you need it.
