Dumb Noob Question: Room Requests

Well, considering that we’ve made requests maybe 4 times in 25+ visits, I think it’s fair to say that we usually don’t care where our room is, as long as it’s the resort and view we booked!

(FYI during the first few years we owned, BW view was only a request, not a booking category, so I don’t count the requests for BW view we made during those years! :-D )

Had some luck in the past, but since our recent trip, we just laugh when thinking about room requests. Made a request on chat on the DVC site for BWV. Asked for upper floor, close to lobby. Got 3rd floor, which was ok, and the LAST room on the left, at the end of all of the halls, the farthest you can get from the lobby.....so no, did not get room requested at all.
Previously used TP twice for BWV and got the room requested. DH did not get his TP room request at RIV. so, hit or miss for sure.

Thanks DVC contact added notes It's a nice to have for me personally, may as well try right? But not essential at all.
