Just out of curiosity, what happens if a candidate concedes the election only to find out later that he/she did, indeed, win?
 
They would win, of course. Then the other person would concede.:D
 
Conceding is only a symbolic act. It doesn't effect the outcome and only signals that the loser accepts the outcome without challenge.
 
Thanks. That's what I always thought but was having a conversation with someone this morning who was trying to tell me the opposite....one of those "I'm always right & you must agree with me" type people. I just couldn't find anything to back it up.
