Duffy Bear

Does anyone know if they are still selling Duffy? My granddaughter just loves the one I have on a keychain. I would love to buy her one when we go next February.

yes they still have plenty of duffy bear plush toys in all sizes.

and to PP duffy is a stuffed bear that minnie made for mickey for him to take on his travels and not get lonely.

The Duffy store that was at Epcot has downsized and doesn't have nearly as much as it did before but they still sell it.

It's my understanding that it has been discontinued and Disney is going through the existing stock they have. If that's true I'd suggest getting a keychain off of ebay (looks to be around fifteen bucks) instead of waiting until next February. Star Wars is hitting the shelves big time on September 4 and if the discontinuation is true I wouldn't be surprised to see it moved off to clear a path for the more popular material.

I know the rumor was he was being phased out and the meet and greet was supposed to stop but it hasn't.

They are selling the 17 inch one that you can buy clothes for online at the Disney Store right now if you want to go ahead and buy him in case he gets phased out by next year. They have his pajamas and a couple of his costumes too. They don't always have him online, and they have different clothes at different times online too. Duffy is big at our house- DD has had him since right after he first started being sold at WDW 4 or 5 years ago- and even though she is 9 now, he still is her absolute favorite. FYI- if they do phase out all the Duffy stuff, he fits fine into Build a Bear clothes. Our Duffy- who has more clothes than some people- has some outfits from there.

They've already ended it at DLR. My DD is not going to be pleased by that when we go to DL this summer. Actually, I need to tell her before the trip because it will make for a better day at DLR. Seems like I might have already told her when they originally removed him, and it was so bad I have blocked it out. Guess I will tread carefully on that one soon and figure it out! BUT- they do have Olaf and Oswald at DLR, so at least there is that. We still are going to miss Duffy a lot - we used to visit him several times in a trip!

my niece's kindergarten teacher's maiden name was duffy.
she got married last year and invited the kids to the wedding.
i'm not sure what her married name is.
my niece loved that her last name was duffy like the bear lol.
