Thanks for posting this Carrie . I had read about it elsewhere and was excited but I do have a few questions...

a) is it the same size bear as the other Duffys which are available (that you can buy outfits for)? Got the impression it wasn't.

b) do you know the price at all please? Haven't been able to find this out.

a-It is iirc but I don't think it's as simple to take the clothes off these pre dressed ones

My Duffy needs a new outfit. Hopefully they'll get something in for the 20th. If not I think I'll get him Buzz Lightyear.

Hmm, I think the girls will be more impressed with the 'build a bear' type where you can buy the outfits at hugely inflated prices . They don't seem to cost much more than the normal bears, I expected them to be a fair bit more with being a special bear, but then they don't seem to be limited editions or anything.

I'm tempted to get a 20th one for myself then .

The 20th Anniversary Duffy is smaller than the standard Duffy and the hat is sewn on (yes, I stood in the shop trying to remove the clothes!).

from lookin on ebay... pre dressed duffys seem to b 12" in height, but the naked duffys are 17".....

i stand to b corrected tho lol i was checkin as for gettin clothing for our build a bears....

I'd say that sounds right, Nikki.

My Duffy (dress up one) is about 17" very similar to a BaB bear.

But in WDW they had a few pre-dressed ones (specials like a baby one (my first bear) an Easter one etc.) and they were smaller.

I've been tempted to buy my Duffy BaB outfits. But he's cute enough in his sailor suit until I can get to a Disney Park.

i like the buzz one, but also love the sorcerer mickey one - but hopin they will have a replica of mickeys 20th anniversary costume!!!

Ok, so the shopping list is growing (quickly too) and I need to add the 20th Duffy Bear... plus pray that they do have a Mickey outfit too

I think he is cute but know what you mean Nikki. It's totally a money spinner for Disney.

Having said all that, having two young girls, you can imagine the shrieks in the house when they saw him (actually first saw him on the Disneyland Paris Kinect game when they got a hug from him!). My 2 don't have 'build a bears' as I'm really not keen on them so I'm happy to let them have something like this instead.

Plus my 3 year old told me the Mickey & Duffy 'new' story which is cute (but again a money spinner) . Still wondering where she got it from - Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or one of the associated DVDs maybe . It's amazing how much they pick up that goes over an adult's head. In fact it can be quite .

We will definitely have 2 on our list, but probably the normal ones They will both be given birthday money so will use that for them .

He costs 32,99€ and I haven't seen him any where yet as mail order
