Dues Question

While I have not yet been able to pay my dues or download the Dues Statement because of issues with the website, I was able to see the amount of my dues. The amount listed is less than the $7.5362 for Beach Club that what was published before the annual meeting. Is this common? Was the proposed amount not actually approved at the annual meeting? The actual amount appears to be $7.3554.

Sorry, miscalculation on my part and I cannot figure out how to delete. Went from 309 to 338, so increase is only 9.4%.

The amount you see in the budget that was approved excludes adjustments needed for overcharges or undercharges from the prior year (2021). The actual 2022 bill will include any needed adjustments, e.g., (a) if actual property taxes paid in 2021 were less (or higher) than budgeted for 2021, the difference will be subtracted from (or added to) the 2022 bill; (b) particularly in the 2021 bill there was an adjustment down in the annual bill resulting from actual costs in 2020 being less than anticipated resulting from the room closures in 2020.

I had an adjustment for overpayment of property taxes of almost $100. Everything else was totally correct - the number of points x the released dues per point were correct for me.

And to remind everyone that last years bill included a credit for the 2020 closure.

Be sure to calculate that into the increase as it won’t be there this year to offset what is owed.

Your 2021 dues were actually higher than that. There was a 2020 rebate but that was a credit from 2020, it didn't actually lower the 2021 dues.

For more detail, HERE are the historical dues for every year up to 2021 - 2022 hasn't been added yet. As @JETSDAD says above, the difference in your dues bill last year to this one is related to the rebate we received, as well as to the difference in PP dues.

Is there a way to have a proper print out of the dues statement?
The mailed reports were nice, but we should be able to duplicate it from the DVC website
