Due's Payment Due Date Question

This always confuses me when I read this on the member site...

Dues are due on Jan 15 (or is it 16th? Irrelevant to the question) but late Fees and Interest will be charge if after Feb 14th.

So what is the real date the dues are due? It's almost like they are giving a month lee-way. We want your money here but... really we don't need it until Feb.

So my question is-- those of you who pay your dues in one go rather than monthly. Do you pay it by the Jan date or the Feb date?

It's kind of like your mortgage, due on day xx, but late fees accrue on day xx+yy. It's a grace period. They are due on the January date but you won't be charged a late fee until February. And we always paid pretty close to the January date, maybe not right on.

If you have a trip after January 15th, they have to be paid before your trip. We've been in that situation at least once.

I pay ours in early February - mostly because the phone lines are just too busy in January. It's never been a problem and we've never been charged a late fee.

It could be a problem if you have a points stay scheduled before you pay, though.

Your dues are not late until after 2/14. I have never had a problem paying on 2/10 via the Member website. It takes Disney a couple of days to process the credit card payment so 2/10 gives them plenty of time.
