Dues Available For Payment On The Member Website

There is a chance, so that's how I'll continue to pay dues. I got the bonus last year. The cards have to be entered manually whether you are combining them or loading to DVA, so it's a no brainer for me. After paying one contract with the DVA this year already, the transaction description is showing as a "purchase", which is exactly what it shows for a qualifying ticket purchase and also what it showed last year. I'm not out anything if I don't get it this year, but at least on the surface, I'm not seeing any changes.

Great, thanks for letting me know. I will try it too. :)

Quoting my original post for data point purposes:

As expected, the Bonus Gift Card for my first dues payment via the DVA, which I made on Monday, has shipped this afternoon. I see zero reason to use the combine gift card feature versus the DVA for dues payments. Just as soon as I'm finished adding my latest gift cards to my DVA, I'll pay the dues for my remaining contracts........at a 40% discount of course:)

Glad to hear it. My dues are right at $1,900, so I'm only out a $20 gift card by not using my DVA. It probably makes good sense if you're right at that threshold.

Mine are about the same as yours. I agree too, it makes sense to try.

As of right now, the bonus offer is good through 2017, so if you did your $1900 this year and made a small purchase or paid dues next year, your cumulative payments would get you another bonus card next year; the payments don't have to be made during a single calendar year. As a side note, Member Accounting was telling me that many members made payments for their 2016 dues back in the Summer to avoid the January rush. This effectively placed a credit on their account. So, I don't see why you couldn't just pay $2000 now, get your $40 bonus and have a $100 credit sitting on your account for next year. Just a thought. Every little bit helps.

Is there a thread detailing the dues increases this year? Percent raises at each resort? Thanks.

One advantage to the DVA is you can't misplace it like a giftcard and the DVA is FDIC insured. As for the $20 Bonus, if I get it that is icing on the cake as the discounted gift cards I used to fund the DVA saved me on average 30%. That's a better return then a bank account and most people earn on the stock market.
