Dueling Pianos on the Wonder???

Recent Wonder cruisers, since 9-14, is Dueling Pianos still on the Wonder???

Andy, yes Dueling Pianos are still on the Wonder. We went to a family show and an adult show during the 9/21 sailing. Joel from Sydney, Australia and Jimmy from NYC perform.

I talked to Fidelio early in the cruise last week and he was suppose to be going to the Wonder for a little while now that Off Beat is gone on th Magic. OF all places they put DP in the Promonode lounge for our cruise - sure limited the material but with talent like Fidelio and Anton I could sit and listen to anything they played. Too bad they took away the pianos and had them play on keyboards!!

The pianos are still there...Will be removed when in dry dock...ESPN will become the new teen area...Common Grounds will be open to all ages...a new sports bar will replace Barrel of Laughs...

I'm hoping to Cruise the Wonder either this 2003 holiday season (Thanksgiving or Xmas/NewYear). But may have to wait until Spring Break/Easter. Either way do any of you Fidelio Fan Club people know if he will be tickling the keys. I've experienced true Piano Bars & Dueling Piano Bar chains. i agree that Singing Along & Audience participation is the ultimate entertainment for a fun night. Besides seeing Billy & Elton. Your chatter about Fidelio has got my curiousity up. But there doesn't seem to be any info available. I thought you F.F.C.(FidelioFanClub) folks could find out.

I saw Joel and Jimmy on the 9/25 and 9/28 Wonder Cruises.

They're pleasant, but they don't have the special chemistry and energy that Fidelio and Anton have.

DUELING PIANOS = FIDELIO

He is a great solo act also, but we sure did love the Fidelio/Anton duo!

Somehow my upcoming cruise has lost it's sparkle without him there.

Do you think if I gave up shrimp and orange mango soup, he will come back?!

What happened to the other musical entertainment (lounge-style singers) in the Promenade?

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble but my information is now almost 3 weeks old and ANYTHING can happen to DP in a shorter time than that. I have not see nany confirmations that Fidelio did transfer to the Wonder that just what I was told that day.

The other Promonade Lounge entertainment was on the Magic that week...it was just a happening little place... used more than I had seen in the past.

I believe that if Fidelio was back playing Dueling Pianos on the Wonder we would have heard by now. He has a big following and his fan club follows him....gee, does that mean that if he goes to another cruise that we will follow.....

Wise up DISNEY SUITS and get him back!

Figment52 - Isn't it amazing what I would give up to get the Piano Guy back?

Wasn't he just the most incredible entertainer? I really liked his act best with Anton - that young man is remarkable and matches the Piano Guy very well. Like a glove on a hand!

I was "lead to believe" by the Powers that be that Fidelio would be on the Wonder from the end of October until the middle of December. BUT that was all before - and now it's become obvious that he is not going there at all.

I know this is getting to be a repetitive thread about Dueling Pianos and Fidelio, but you'd think that with so many "paying customers" we would be heard.

And whose hairbrained idea was it to put Dueling Pianos at the Promenade Lounge?~!! EXCUSE ME??????? An adult show where kids can come or hear as they pass by? Now that was not one of the SUITS better ideas. And taking away their pianos for those cheap little keyboards....oh please!

Yeah, not only take away Off Beats but put an adult show in the most public area on the ship!! Smart.
