Has anyone ever had dueling pianos for their wedding reception - at home or at Disney...? I am hoping to find some feedback about this option for our reception since we want an alternative to a DJ since our guest count is relatively low. I saw SambyCat did Yeehaw Bob and she loved it, so I'm hoping someone else has done something similar. I prefer dueling pianos for the whole piano bar vibe like at JellyRolls. We are having a 'no children allowed' wedding, so we also are cool with adult style entertainment like at JellyRolls.

Any feedback is appreciated!

I had a freind who actually had these at her wedding..but it was in Dallas. VERY VERY cool idea! I hope that someone is able to help you as far as Disney goes!

haven't done it (obvs) but it sounds like fun and invite me!! they guys at jellyrolls are so cool - LOVE when the one does a disney melody, then sings "rainbow connection"! would be awesome - but probably pricey given the 2 pianos required to duel! :lmao:

if i were thinking of this (at disney), i'd probably try and google the performers/cast members and see what they might already do as far as other performing and kind of get some ideas that way? otherwise what about doing a group outing to jellyrolls itself? unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be a place with any food options (they serve popcorn only!), so sadly it can't be like the rehearsal dinner space or probbly not a cost effective option for attempting something "off hour" from their normal nightly schedule.

however, i would enjoy a ticket if you do it!!

I looked into this since of the guys coming to my wedding is one of the Jellyrolls singers. Not sure for other locations, but for two piano rentals and move fees for the Grand Floridian, it was $800. We decided not to do it since we would only have done it for about an hour.

thanks for the responses (sorry for my delay!) :thumbsup2

I'm hoping it doesn't work out to be TOOOO awful expensive!
