Dual monitors

@Corey, is that really necessary?
I have my macbook and a CRT that I use if I want to use photo shop (well the free equivalent), but really? five? I think I would be annoyed at that.

It's actually only 4 monitors, and yes, it's very necessary. The laptop is not connected to the rest, but it is used. Until I can clone myself, I'll have to keep adding monitors to keep up with my workflow :)

Don't forget what Corey's job is. I'm sure it is very necessary.

The LSU mousepad is a nice touch.

How can you actually set the Dual Monotiors on a Laptop on a Vista System?

I need some help Please :D

most laptops have a VGA or DVI out port so you can just connect a monitor to it.

I used to have 2 monitors when I had a desktop and I loved it. Then I moved to a laptop and got used to 1 again, but I miss having multiple.

With my new job I plan to go back to 2 again. I'm running my macbook in closed lid mode so it acts just like a desktop, then I can get a device that will let me hook up 2 monitors to the macbook and presto! I'll need it for my new position at work

Would it be too embarrassing to admit that I thought Kathy was talking about baby monitors?

My husband has three and slowly working up to four. I am still on one but can see the use of more than one monitor.

The only problem I have with multiple monitors is trying to find the cursor (mouse pointer). When I have to go on my husband's computer I have to figure out where that stupid arrow is to do anything.....:lmao:.

It's addicting. I feel like I work in slow motion on a laptop. Every monitor has a purpose.

I need to get our ICT folks at work to unblock the DIS so that they can read this thread. I can see why I struggle with one 15" monitor :surfweb:

If you go to the Control Panel and open up the Mouse program there is a setting to show the mouse cursor when the Ctrl key is pressed. You can also set the mouse to leave a trail/tail which helps to see it when you....

Or just move the mouse around real fast. :rotfl:

Later,
Dan
