DU Not responding

I made a reservation request last week with DU for one night at the Grosvenor before our check in at OKW. We received confirmation from Dreams and then requested to change the room to a tower vs. the courtyard. The response to that came last Fri. saying they would have to wait until after the weekend when the Grosvenor's reservation system could confirm this. I have not heard anything since. I have sent a few emails and not received a response. It appears from this forum that they were having some problems today with their system, but this has been almost a week now without any response. Our OKW reservations are also with Dreams but the agent (who has been very responsive with that part of our vacation plans) said she does not handle the DTD hotels, so I had to go to a separate part of their site. I would just like to get some kind of response indicating the status of our reservations. It also makes me a little nervous that we have nothing in writing confirming the fact that we even have reservations.
 
I think the only thing you get in "writing" is the confirmation they send via email. Also, DU has been swamped with applying the AP discount to select reservations the past two days. I'm sure they will get back to you as soon as they can.
 
A few months ago I had a similar problem. I got a quote for my spring trip from DU. The agent got back to me and gave me a quote. I then asked about another resort. The agent said the WDW system was down but I'd get another email in a few days. I said no problem. Never got the email. (No, it wasn't in my spam mail.)

I waited a few weeks and then just requested another quote with a specific agent (advice from this board). It's been a great experience so far.

I think some agents are just more organized than others and the first quote I received was totally forgotten about and a follow up email never came back. I take that as a bad sign and rather than contact that agent again, I'd rather find another one (so I did!).

That's very good advise! There was a message from DU in my Junk Mail this morning regarding a cruise quote that I'd requested earlier in the week. It was kind of surprising to see it there since DU and my DU TA are both on my "safe" list.

I check my junk folder everyday, so I know that this email just showed up recently, but if I were not the type to do this, I would have missed it for sure!
 
I just got a quote I requested two days ago. I wanted to compare it to AKL rates/availability and went back to Dreams this morning and the system is overloaded (not sure if that's the correct terminology!) and it says to check back later. They must have really gotten hit with the AP rates release!
