DU - Final Payment

I booked our upcoming cruise with DU. When I make my final payment to DU, how long does it take for it to credited to DCL? I believe that DCL needs to receive my final payment before I can book my excursions, right?

If you use a credit card, DCL will be the one that charges the card.

So, payment is immediate if you use a card.

I've always arranged with my TA to have my final payment automatically billed to my card at 61 days out. That way, no one has to "remember" it (it is an automatic function at the TA's office), and I receive a phone confirmation the same day. It just eliminates any chance of forgetting,e tc.
