DU and rebook discount

Per an e-mail I received from Tammy, you certainly can. However, they will have to have your voucher for the discount if I'm not mistaken.

Of course, my voucher was not received yet. I'm giving 10 to 1 odds it will not be received. Well, not without intervention on my part. Not that I'm encouraging gambling mind you. Its just that I think it is going the way everything else went on that cruise for me as far as paperwork. Heck, they didn't even know I was in my room, they thought it was empty. :D

well, since we cruised on points our vouchers came straight to us. we got them last week. i got a quote from DU and have sent a reply to merrie and mentioned the code which is: GSR Frances 7S, which DCL said that you had to mention when booking. then the original letter must be sent in with deposit. hopefully you get yours soon. i think that we may be trying the whole paying cash, renting points thing this time, so this is all new to me.

I did get my voucher faxed today from DU.

I then send DCL a letter asking them to give me the 25% off or what should have been the prevailing onboard re-booking offer.

We can only cruise after October 1, 2005 as my wife is on active duty with the U.S.A. Army and nothing before then is certain at this time. I asked for quotes the first night onboard for October 2005. Two days later received response that basically is summarize in 9/10/04 Navigator.

My letter was nice, sweet, and to the point. At the end simply asked them to let me know which of the two choices they will be rebooking my 10/15/05 under.

Also, asked them a few questions I think we all would like the answer to in regards to re-booking.

well i still haven't sent in my letter detailing problems with checkin and room yet. it turned out to be 5 pages long and we are doing final revisions so that we can send it and see what answers will be. i included two concerns about our cruise and vouchers, day lost to transport and checkin on tuesday, and oct 1 deadline coflict with dd's school and west coast cruises, so i guess we'll see how it goes.

yes, and DU told me they had almost all of the vouchers for those who booked with them. i really dont have a choice for vacationing again, so we are going to do a family cruise with RCL!
