DTW to MCO - 1/30/07 thru 2/7/2007

Best prices I can find right now for RT Non-Stop, are Airtran for $239/p or NWA for $249/p.

Should we wait for SWA to post flights for this time period, or jump on these?

Hmm, you still have some time before fares go up, so I would wait a few months to see how the trends are, then make a decision...

I would wait a bit. We saw flights for September at $117 r/t from DTW-MCO. although we ended up paying about $170 r/t for a "better time".

Check Spirit Airlines! Our flight, when we booked in May (we go next week), was $89 each way. My sister booked three weeks ago and got the same flight for $49 each way. If you sign up for email alerts, you'll find out exactly when the sales are (they show DTW to ... right in splash screen).

We always fly Spirit (through the Smith terminal - dang, no monorail!) and simply love the service as well as the price.

AH thats a plus!! Smith Terminal is so convienient, being hooked right to the Big Blue Deck and everything, but it is one of the crapiest terminals in all of the world (seriously, some third world countries have nicer terminals then the Smith). I fly American (out of smith) usually every couple of months, and enjoy it much more then Northwest out of MacNamera (even though security lines tend to be a little longer)

We are traveling from DTW to MCO on Airtran in early January and I paid $77 each way, plus tax. You might want to wait. I bought these tickets two weeks ago.

Thank you for your responses. We will wait a bit and keep an eye on prices. Right now Spirit doesn't have flights past Jan 10th, so when they open up their schedule we will take a look at them too. Thanks again!
