I justed wanted to add my two cents about DTD.
By the time we arrived and checked into our hotel in the DTD area it was about 4pm. We didn't plan on going to the parks this day and wanted to just look around DTD.
This was our DD(7) and DS(5) first trip to Disney. They were sooo impressed with everything at DTD they thought that this was "Disney". DH and I looked at one another and joking said well we could have saved alot of money not buying Park hopper passes and they would have been happy.
It was alot of fun for DH and I because we knew how much more fun was yet to come.
There's something to be said for the excitement in the air at the all the Disney locations. It doesn't seem to matter if it's a resort, park or even a shopping area like DTD it's there.
I know we will be taking in DTD on our next trip!
