DTD--What a mess!

If you are planning to drive to DTD, you will need a LOT of time. Traffic is a disaster because you can only enter parking at 2 points. Last night the traffic was backed up onto World Drive. I can't imagine what the Christmas/New Year mess will look like. If you love DTD, SSR is definitely the best resort right now.

This is the very reason we are staying at SSR for the last 3 nights of our trip in Dec. We are staying at BCV for the 1st 7 nights and aren't planning to take the bus or drive over to DTD during that time. Nightmarish!

Our waitlist didn't come thru for 2 of the nights we needed early October, so I specifically booked POR-R so we could use the boat to go to DTD. The service was prompt but the mosquitos were biting each time we neared a dock. First time I've ever noticed bugs at 'the World'.
