DTD to Dolphin Resort

Is there a bus that runs from Down Town Disney to the Dolphin resort? We are staying at the All Star Music and planned on taking a bus to DTD to get to the Alamo rental car location at the Dolphin so we don't have to pay for a taxi. Is this possible?

Yes, there is a bus that goes from DTD to Dolphin/Swan, I think it might even be the same bus that goes to BC/YC and Boardwalk. Anyway, the bus stops at DTD are definitely marked for Dolphin/Swan.

Alamo will pick you up and take you to the rental place you know, you have to call the day before to set it up.

Good information. Thank you. Does it cost any extra for Alamo to pick you up? I would call them myself but on my one day off that I need to confirm everything my phone is out and they have been working on it all day

The shuttle to Alamo at the Car Care center is free and will pick you up at your resort. It will not take you to the Dolphin though so if you already have a reservation make sure the rate is just as good from the CCC before you change.

If you keep your rental reservation at the Alamo at the Dolphin its easy to get there and you can go via DTD but you don't have to. Leaving from teh All Stars I would take the bus to MGM and walk or take the boat to the Dolphin. In fact you can transfer from any park or DTD.

If you mean the Alamo shuttle it is by reservation so you need to call and make arrangements. Again this will take you to the Alamo location at Car Care Center not the Dolphin location.

If you mean Disney transporation, it runs continuously - about every 20 minutes, no arrangements necessary.

If your reservation is at the Dolphin and you prefer the shuttle to the CCC I recommend changing your reservation before you leave so you don't end up a price increase or worse without a car.
