DTD security or harbor?

I'm going next week (24th-26th) and currently have 2 different hotels booked. I need to cancel one of them, but I can't decide which option is better. I've read that harbor side security is crazy in the mornings, but it generally moves fast. I haven't really heard much about DTD security, but I did see the post GothicRosie made this morning where there was no one at DTD security but Harbor was a mess. For those that have been and used either of these security options, what are your thoughts?

And in case anyone has any input on either of the hotels I have booked they are Sheraton at the Park (by Morton's/Hilton) and Eden Roc (on the back side of DCA).

Thanks!

Super smooth sailing with minimal to no lines at DTD security last week for us (stayed at the new Westin which is right by Eden Roc). But things may change this week a bit when PPH reopens. Harbor also likely to change with changes in COVID procedures and when Toy Story lot reopens end of this week.

When is the latest you can cancel? I think there's going to be a lot of changes in the next few days and how things have been the last couple weeks are not necessarily a good barometer...

I have a week before I truly need to cancel. I'd like to cancel one of them by the 21st to make sure i'm not charged. I forgot that the PPH is reopening this week, thanks for that reminder!

As the Sheraton is barely closer than the Eden Roc, I'd totally go with the Eden Roc or another hotel in that vicinity. I am currently trying to decide between the Anaheim Hotel and Best Western Stovall's for the same reasons. Anaheim Hotel is only 0.4 mile walk, while Stovall's is 0.8mi. Keep in mind the last 0.5 mile of the walk on the DCA side is through the gardens at Disneyland hotel and through DTD and feels much more pleasant than walking down Harbor in traffic.

thinking of trying the DTD security to avoid the Harbor nightmare this weekend for a trip on Saturday. But can you even access the DTD entrance if you park in Mickey & Friends? This past Sunday it looked like you couldn't walk across the pathway to the bridge over to DTD, though that could very well have been a 'reduced capacity' thing. Anybody know if you can walk over to DTD entrance from Mickey & Friends now?

Eden Roc has a reputation for being noisy, even for a motel. The Sheraton being a full service hotel would be nicer but it is very outdated which is why they're currently being renovated. I personally avoid both of these but have stayed at the Sheraton when the price was low enough compared to other options.

You know, things are changing so rapidly due to the removal of restrictions, Harbor might look totally different a week from now. We're there a week from tomorrow, and I'm still waiting to see which way the wind blows before deciding where to park, Harbor or DTD side.

Eden Roc does not have a good reputation. Please be careful.
