I am still trying to come up with an ADR for our last night. We will be staying at POR and will probably hit DTD. Any suggestions for a kid friendly restaurant on the DP.

Even though it is an Irish Pub and Restaurant, our kids love going to Raglan Road, especially when they have live music. Our kids also love T-Rex.

Even though it's technically a counter service location I would highly recommend Earl of Sandwich, plus it's on the DDP and it's very kid friendly.

My kids 9 and 6 loved Raglan Road. The food for them was okay but the music and dancer made the night. The food for us was really good. I would go again just for the scallops.

They have also enjoyed RFC and Planet Hollywood. There was a great deal for them to look at and enjoy although we (the adults) did not enjoy our meals there as much. But they are not on the dining plan.

Hope this helps some. :)

cap'n jacks is great! we had one of our favorite meals there - really yummy food.

make sure you take the boat from POR to DTD!

I was going to suggest Earl of Sandwich too. We always eat there during our stay.

Earl of Sandwich is a CS place. It will cost a CS credit not a TS credit. It is just soups, salads and sandwiches, and although it is good, it is not a sit down dinner.
We love Raglan Road. It is a beautiful restaurant, the food is good and the entertainment is terrific.

Table Service - Raglan Road was delicious and the band was a lot of fun - and there were Irish Dancers!

Counter Service - the best counter service we had all trip (we ate there 2x!) was Wolfgang Puck Express! Great value for the CS credit, and delicious food, too! :goodvibes

We will have 2 TS credit to use and it will be our last night so I would like to use up at least one of them.

Looked at the menu at Raglan Road and although it appeals to me, I don't see anything that my boys would eat on the menu. Does anyone know if they have children staples to fall back on (chicken tenders, Mac and Cheese, French Fries)?

I am considering Planet Hollywood. I know, nothing special but I think we can all find something on the menu that we will enjoy. :)

Thanks for the suggestions!

I agree on the Raglan Road suggestion as I absolutely thouht it was a great restaurant to wrap a great week at Disney....

PH was a :headache:, we went there the 1st night we arrived and I gotta tell ya the food is great but to have a coversation without yelling because it was loud was a wee bit too much... Just my 2 cents :)

Planet Hollywood is great. When I went, you could go up to the DJ and request songs. :)

Also, Rainforest Cafe. It can get quite loud, though.

If your looking for QS, I really enjoyed Wofgang Puck's Express! We ate their twice on our last trip. All 3 of us ate pasta dishes. Me and fiance had Mac and Cheese (and I'm pretty anal about Mac and Cheese, but this seemed like REAL cheese lol) and DD had spaghetti, the sauce was pretty good.

Yes, Raglan Road has a kids menu, and my kids had the chicken strips. They were excellent and a huge portion. We've been twice and we all enjoyed it very much both times.

How about Wolfgang Puck Cafe (the sit-down one on the west-side around the corner from the movie theater)? We ate there on one trip, and the food was really interesting and good (one thing that stands out, my uncle got an app of house-made potato chips with gorgonzola and truffle oil). You could check out the menu and see if it appeals. It's a one-TS credit meal. I wouldn't call it a kids place, but DD was with us and was not out of place at all, especially if you go earlier in the evening. I wouldn't hesitate to dine there again.

HTH!

Fultons is very good and there kids menu has mac and cheese annd chicken tenders. Not on dp though.
