DTD recommendations

DH and I will start our arrival day at DTD. We have never had the time to make it to DTD in the past. We are looking to do more drinking and some dining at DTD or connected resorts.

I def want to stop at the Margarita stand at the marina. Any other suggestions for places to stop and have a cocktail or dinner with a view of DTD and sit outside.

Is there a boat that we can get on at DTD and take to the resorts? I thought this might be nice.

Which resort are you staying at? The boats from DTD go to SSR, OKW, and PO.
As for drinks, checkout Raglan Road they usually have bands playing in the evening, T-Rex, and Rainforest Cafe has a new bar/seating area that over looks the lake.

Added: Outsite of HoB, there is a bar, and in the afternoons a singer is usually playing.

There is a bar outside Raglan Road called Hole in the Wall that has happy hour from 3-6 daily. We also like Paradiso 37 for drinks/apps. They have an outdoor seating area that that has a great view of the lake.

Yes, you can take the boat to SSR, OKW, or POR.

We were just there with 2 other couples, had a Great Time!! We got off the bus at the first stop and walked all the way down to HoB. RFC now has an outdoor lounge called Lava Lounge...it overlooks the water (of course there is construction on the water right now, but in time it will be nice). The margarita place had a singer outside also.

Down the road at Paridiso another singer was outside at the bar. Lots of music at a bar next to Raglan Road, again outside.

Bongo's has outdoor seating (we actually ate dinner there, and had some really good mojito's!!! )

Drinks and great singer outside at HoB, in fact we hated to leave at dinner time!!

We ended thenight playing pool upstairs at Splitsville :0
