DTD Parking?

What is the current parking situation at DTD? Also, how bad is the traffic getting into DTD?

Parking was convoluted when I was there in Sept. The traffic is always bad in that area....even before the construction started. I try to avoid driving, and parking, at DTD at all costs. At least for the foreseeable future.

My friend works for Disney and it seemed like the conclusion was take the bus is you can. It was bad before the construction.... its worse now...

we were there last fall right as they were blocking off what was to be dug up and it was a mess... i can only imagine now! Cant wait to see for myself in 15 days!

We also were just there in September and drove out early one evening to go to Publix for supplies....somehow we ended up on the road that passes DTD.....what a mess... No traffic flow whatsoever ever... Took us 45-60 minutes to drive pass DTD.... Traffic was like a huge parking lot....worse yet we're people still trying to drive into DTD.... can't figure it out.. If we're going to DTD, we talk the resort bus... Maybe a little longer wait but sure beats the chaos in DTD...

We purposely stay at POFQ, when our interests lean towards DTD, can't beat that boat ride there and back

Definitely rethinking my Saturday night Raglan Road reservation right about now ...

We went to DTD last Monday night at 7pm, Columbus Day 10/13, for reservations at T-Rex. After reading these boards, I was rethinking my dinner plans due to the construction, but we ended up going anyway. There was a lot of traffic, but nothing too crazy. We parked in the Cast Member parking lot across the street without a problem.

I actually did cancel our Raglan Road reservation for this trip. I just couldn't face that mess

Traffic was a pain, but not terrible.

Parking was a pain, but again, not terrible. Word of advice, give up on the main lot and go directly to the Cast Member lot.

We went twice while we were there in September. We drove and parked on Sunday. Then on Thursday we went again, and we took the bus. The bus was much easier.
