Which downtown disney restaurants do you recommend on dining plan for TS?

We will be eating fairly early 5-5:50 with three boys 5-10 years old and will be shopping and going to disney quest so would like to stay on that side to eat.

If your trip is in 2009, the only DTD restaurants that are currently listed as eligible for DDP are Cap'n Jack's and Food Quest (CS at Disney Quest). Others will probably be added before the end of 2008.

The only TS restaurants that generally participate on the West Side are Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Planet Hollywood. Raglan Road is at the end of the former Pleasure Island nearest the marketplace.

Assuming the '09 list turns out to be the same as '08, with boys that age I'd suggest Planet Hollywood. My kids love the place. The menu isn't gourmet or even remotely original, but the food is good and the atmosphere is great for kids. My older kids are 7 & 10 and they loved the decor so much that they didn't even complain when the server was a bit slow in bringing the check.

If they are on the plan as they have been in the past, I would suggest Planet Hollywood as a first choice and then Wolfgang Puck as a second choice.

Planet Hollywood is going to be a loud and stimulating experience.
Wolfgang Puck would be more on the relaxed side, with no visual stimulation or extra experience of any kind.

I highly recommend Wolfgang Pucks (Cafe, not Express - never have eaten at Express) if you are on the dining plan! They are very very pricey but we loved the food!
