I was readind in the Toronto Star last weekend about a new dining experience set for downtown Disney that will incorporate dinosaurs, similar to the Rainforest Cafe. Has anyone heard anything else about this or if you have been in DTD lately have you seen any signs of construction etc?I checked out the restaraunt thread but saw nothing. Makes me wonder if the Star was incorrect. Just curious as my DS is a dino nut and would love this. We are going early Oct and I doubt it will be ready by then but you never know!

It's called T Rex and it's owned by Landry's, the same company that owns RFC. I checked the web site and the only information there said "coming soon to DTD". Thanks for posting about it....seems your paper was right!

I think I remember seeing on another board that it's expected date was summer 2008. They haven't broken ground for it yet.

I was at PI last night and ground still has not been broken for the T-REX Restaurant, which will be located in the corner of the DTD parking lot where valet parking was offered years ago. This is basically between the McDonald's and the Raglan Road restaurant. My sources at PI simply say that groundbreaking will be anytime now.
