Hey, I was paging around looking for some House of Blues pictures or experiences. I've heard a lot about Ralph Brennan's, and I want to try it, but haven't heard much about House of Blues or how it compares. The menu looks good.
Dh and I eat there all the time. My favorite is the steak salad. The skillet cornbread is a good one. My favorite drink is the Rum Runner, dh tends to try whatever they have new. Great atmosphere, great music, great food.
Did you check out the menu at allears? I have seen this place, but we've never ate there. We've only ate at Catal as far as Downtown Disney dining goes. We have gotten snacks from different places (marchellines, etc) but not a sit down meal. Actually, we sort of did at the Rainforest Cafe. We sat at the bar and got appetizers a couple times.
Yep, as I said, the menu on allears looks good. Just wondered, really, if anybody had any comparisons to Ralph Brennan's. They're both kind of cajun/creole, seems funny to have two so similar just in DTD.
I had some sort of chicken strips from the House of Blues and I thought the place was great. I'm somewhat of a light weight when it comes to alcohol. I had a Tokyo Tea from there and it knocked me off my butt haha. I totally recommend it. We went for lunch, so it was pretty empty and we sat by the bar. It was really chill in there and totally laid back; being a born and raised Californian I totally love that
What??? I can't hear you!!! My ears are still ringing from when we went to HOB 3 years ago! Yes it IS that loud in there... and it doesn't matter what part of the restaurant you sit!
