We stayed at DTD Hilton in December and February. I can definitely recommend the hotel and will be staying again many more times, I'm sure. It is the only DTD hotel that offers EMH, which is a huge bonus. They also have character breakfasts. Being right across the street from DTD is very convenient as well. There is a 24-hour market on the first floor for coffee, snacks, deli sandwhiches, milk, coke, cereal, bagels, donuts, etc. They have a Benihana's, an ice cream parlor, a cafe, and a lounge/restaurant, so pleanty of on-site options. They also have a business center in the lobby. You can buy theme park tickets in the lobby and get info on DVC as well. There is a bus for the parks that runs approximately every 30 minutes. If you stay on the concierge level you have access to the lounge on the 9th floor and will get coffee, cold drinks, snacks, continental breakfast, etc, but IMO was not worth the extra cost for what was offered.

The rooms are large and clean and there are two vanity areas with sinks in the bathroom - one in the wet area with the tub and toilet one in a dressing area. The beds are very comfortable!

I took my three DS on a "mom and boys" trip last August. We stayed at the Hilton for 5 days and had a great stay. Terrific rate and EMH made this a perfect hotel.

Just know that you have to pay extra for parking and the hotel shares bus routes with ALL DTD hotels.

My sons are older, so I let them stay at DisneyQuest while I shopped the Marketplace. When they had enough, it was a short walk back to the hotel.

We haven't used the pool yet. We did go out to it, but i don't remember the hours. You could give them a call, though.

How late does the bus run? We are flying in early on a Saturday morning and staying here one night before staying onsite for the rest of the trip. We don't plan on going to a park that Saturday but want to go around DTD and then Fort Wilderness for some of the activities (chip and dale and movie). So, we're looking at using disney transportation to get to FW. Will the bus run late at MK like any other WDW bus does?

The DTD resort busses run just as late as the regular Disney busses, even during EMH.

The DTD resorts do not use the Disney-owned bus transportation system, but the busses they use do say Disney on them, so you don't really even think about them being different.

I don't have specific answers about pool and bus hours, but we stayed at the DtD Hilton about 3 years ago, and loved it. The buses seemed to run as frequently as WDW buses, and they were actually more comfortable.
The bed was great.
The room was very nice - more deluxe than moderate.
No balcony, which I sort of missed.
Great proximity to DtD.
EMH!!
We paid less per night than we did for the rest of the stay, which was at Coronado Springs.
