I know this may have been asked a time or two, so forgive me for this possible repeat. We are going to be staying at the Hilton this summer and I understand it costs $$ to park there. I also understand that we get EMH, but have to pay to park at the theme parks if we chose to drive. So, my questions concerns the buses. 1. How often does the Hilton bus come around and question 2, wouldn't the option of walking over to DTD, catching a Disney bus and use that for transportation to the parks. :confused3

the buses come every half hour or so. MK and AK are together.
Epcot and Studio are together.

Disney several years ago did away with their theme park buses going to DD. only the WDW resorts now go to DD.

still might go with DD buses - you need to take the BC bus for Epcot, CR bus for MK, bw for studio - nothing is close enough to AK -

oh with the above resorts you are close enough to walk to the parks.

don't do what the bus drivers say - SSR or OKW - or what Disney is saying PO. None of these resorts are close to any of the parks.

I stayed at the Hilton last summer with my 3 DS. Yes, it does cost you about $10 - $12 to self park, but you do have in and out privileges.

The buses come every 30 minutes and they pick up for ALL of the DTD hotels. However, it goes very quickly since the buses pull up, load the passengers and then they are off. Like all of the buses, they do become quite packed at the end of the day.

Also, sometimes the pick-up and drop off places are different at the parks, so be sure to listen to the driver. We did try the DTD buses, but those came at odd times so we couldn't really plan on how long we were waiting...

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton, close to DTD so I could go shopping and my teenagers spent time at DisneyQuest. They returned back to the room at their leisure.

We had a junior suite for the 4 our us. It was pretty tight with the sofabed pulled out, but we had two sinks, one outside the bathroom/one inside and this was a helpful perk.

I would stay there again. If you have a Signature Visa, keep checking the website for the special discount (we're staying at the Anaheim Hilton for $75.):woohoo: The current one expires on March 31st. We had a large room at a great price, plus EMH.

Enjoy your trip to the World!

The Hilton Bus leaves the hotel every 30,min.
Usually 10,min/ 40min past the hr from the hotel.

They used to have 1,bus,for each Disney Park.
For now,(low season),1,bus goes to 2,parks.
The bus also picks up at 3 other hotels,on HPBLV.
So, you can count on using 45,min to the parks.
The bus are highly reliable, and the DTD Hotel buses are the ONLY non Disney hotels, that has busses running all day.

It do always seem that you need to wail 45,min for pickup, after park closing. (i figure, its because they wonna fill those busses up,goood). When the bus at park closing get full, another bus will come in about 5-10min.(this is very common at E.P.C.O.T.)
The Disney bus @ DTD will do no good, time wise, since they are not direct.

Have an magical time.
