Embarking on our first gluten free trip....we're thinking of grabbing counter service somewhere in Downtown Disney the first night of our trip (tomorrow night!), and I have a couple of questions I'm hoping someone can help me with.
Looks like the only thing, other than maybe some salads, that's gluten free on the Wolfgang Puck Express menu is the rosemary chicken and mashed potatoes. That'd be great for DH and me, and our 10 year old who is an official "adult" this year. But it looks like everything on the kid's menu is chock full o'gluten. Does anyone know if they have any gluten free alternatives there (like the Amy's mac and cheese or the allergen free chicken tenders)? Or would they let us use the kids' credits for the chicken meal since there's nothing my younger kids can eat on the kids' menu? If not, I can just pay out of pocket for a chicken meal for them to split, but I'd like to know before I get there so I can try to plan out how to use credits for the rest of the trip.
Also, I read on one thread from awhile back (last winter, I think) that Cookes of Dublin has gluten free batter on hand and will make GF chicken fingers or fish and chips. But I've only seen it referenced one time. Can anyone else confirm or deny?
Thanks!
