DTD Doubletree vs Hilton walk to DTD

I just booked the DTD Doubletree for our night before we check in to Carribean Beach Resort. Last year we did the same thing but stayed at the Hilton. What is the comparison between the two as far as how long it takes to walk to DTD. We want to go over and eat at Earl of Sandwich. Is the walk a lot more from Doubletree than from the Hilton? Thanks!

The walk is longer. You will have The Royal Plaza and Holiday Inn properties between the Doubletree and the Hilton. If you are healthy and can stand a day of walking in the parks you can certainly make this walk as well. We stayed there several years ago before it became the Doubletree and had no trouble walking but, by comparison of the two hotels, the Doubletree is definitely a longer hike.
